SUDBURY, MA — Middlesex County District Attorney will visit Sudbury this month to host a meeting on safety following a rash of break-ins targeting Indian and south Asian property owners.

Sudbury police noted two August break-ins that seemed to fit with a larger pattern seen in other local communities, including Lincoln, Wellesley and Weston. The thieves entered homes in both Sudbury break-ins via a second floor window, police said.

The local break-ins were "consistent with an ongoing residential break-in investigation, where often the victims are of South Asian and/or Indian descent," Sudbury police said.
