Student Injured at Lincoln-Sudbury Rugby Game

The student was taken by ambulance from the game.

SUDBURY, MA—A student was taken by ambulance on Friday from the Lincoln-Sudbury rugby game against Belmont after being injured at the start of the game.

The student was alert and conscious when the ambulance arrived, received prompt attention and was in "good care of the EMTs" according to Superintendent Bella Wong.

"The student was thoroughly checked out by the hospital and released," Wong told Patch. "He will need a bit of rest due to the concussion. His family and we will continue to monitor him for symptoms."
