SUDBURY, MA — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified over the last two pandemic years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Sudbury to help you start planning now. Here's what's in store this July 4:

Sudbury July 4 Parade
When: July 4, 1 p.m.
Where: Starts at the Chiswick Park plaza, 490 Boston Post Road
What: A parade saluting "heroes, helpers and essential workers."

Beatles For Sale Concert
When: July 3, 6 p.m.
Where: Dean Park, 805 Main St., Shrewsbury
What: Music and food by Troop 114 and Kona Ice; bring a blanket.

When: June 30, 4 p.m. (fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
What: Large fireworks show, music by Ricky Duran
