Sudbury Families, Can You Host a Fresh Air Child in Your Home?

The Fresh Air Fund is looking for host families in the area who can accommodate a child for one to two weeks in August.

SUDBURY, MA—This Father's Day, the Fresh Air Fund is asking families to consider sharing the joys of the summer with a New York City child.

The Fresh Air Fund is looking for MetroWest area homes where a child can spend one to two weeks to experience such things as playing catch barefoot in the grass, roasting s'mores by the campfire, or going swimming in a lake. The signup deadline is July 1 to host a Fresh Air Child this August.

"What it really equates to is another setting at your dinner table and giving a child a an experience they might not otherwise have. When our Fresh Air child Kenneth comes to visit all we have to do is have a welcoming home for a week or two,” said host father Chris in an announcement.
