Sudbury To Hold Second Earth Day Celebration In 2024
This year's Sudbury Earth Day event will feature a variety of activities, and coincide with litter pickups.
SUDBURY, MA — A new Earth Day festival in Sudbury will return for its second year in 2024, offering a variety of eco-activities alongside local litter pickups.
The April 20 event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at locations around the historic town center near the intersection of Concord and Old Sudbury roads. Here's what to expect:
Noyes Elementary School, 280 Old Sudbury Road

Farmers market featuring Grateful Tastes, The Hyve, Piping Plover Baking Co., and The Water’s Edge. Also, an Earth Fair featuring vendors like Black Earth Compost, the Sudbury Garden Club, Sudbury Valley Trustees and the Hop Brook Protection Association.
Town Hall, 322 Concord Road

Live demonstrations on fighting climate change at home, preserving Hop Brook and the Sudbury River and using sustainable fibers.
Grange Hall, 326 Concord Road

There will also be live alpacas on the town common, and a rummage sale at the First Parish Church.
The annual Sudbury roadside cleanup will happen the same day as the festival. Before the cleanup, residents can sign up to adopt of a street to clean.
