SUDBURY, MA — After a pandemic hiatus, an annual celebration in Sudbury of the town's contribution to the Revolutionary War will likely return in 2022.

The Sudbury Companies of Minute and Militia have requested permission to march on Patriot's Day from the First Parish Church in Wayland through town all the way to the Concord Battleground site. The march honors the fight on April 19, 1775, between colonists and British troops at Lexington and Concord.

At the North Bridge site in Concord, over 300 Colonial troops confronted the British, driving them back to Boston.
