SUDBURY, MA — The Sudbury Montessori school will seek permission from the town in June to construct a new educational facility in the historic town center.

Sudbury Montessori recently submitted plans to the town for permission to build a nearly 8,000 square-foot school at 502 Concord Road, which is on the back side of Nixon Elementary near Newbridge Road. The building would also include 35 parking spots and a new driveway area.

School founders Joel and Monoshini Gordon will go to the Sudbury Planning Board on June 28 seeking permission for the site plan, a stormwater management permit and permission to demolish the single-family home standing at 502 Concord Road.
