Tons Of Seats Open On Sudbury Boards, Commissions
Twenty boards, commissions and councils have seats that are expiring soon. Here's how to get appointed.
SUDBURY, MA — Maybe you like rail trails, or zoning, or conservation — or maybe you want to be the town historian. Chances are there's a position in town government for you.
The town is looking for scores of volunteers to take up seats on 20 town boards, councils and commissions governing a variety of things, from diversity and inclusion to Memorial Day celebrations. The town will accept applications for the positions through May 6 (except the Finance Commission, which is April 19).
Some boards and commissions have vacancies right now, while others have seats that are expiring very soon. Here are the 2024 committee openings:
