One of the nonprofit's main initiatives is its quarterly magazine ChopChop published in English and Spanish. Each edition contains activities and recipes that families can do together. Anyone who buys a give-back bag at Shaw's in Sudbury will get the latest edition of ChopChop while supplies last.

The Shaw's "Give Back Where It Counts" initiative began in 2019, offering reusable tote bags at local supermarkets that support local charities. The program has collected close to $300,000 for nonprofits in the U.S. since 2019, according to the company.
