MA Native Marries Actress Alba Baptista On Cape Cod
The weekend wedding at an undisclosed home drew guests like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Emily Blunt.
SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury native and Lincoln-Sudbury High School graduate Chris Evans made headlines over the weekend after marrying Alba Baptista in Massachusetts.
Evans, 42, and Baptista, 26, married at an undisclosed home on Cape Cod, according to People Magazine. The wedding drew some big Hollywood names, including Evans' Marvel co-stars Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth.
Evans grew up in Sudbury and graduated in 1999 from Lincoln-Sudbury, where he was classmates with "Succession" actor Jeremy Strong. His mother was the artistic director at the Concord Youth Theater.

Baptista, who hails from Portugal, has starred in the Netflix series "Warrior Nun" and several Portuguese TV shows.
Evans rose to fame with a lead role in 2001's "Not Another Teen Movie" parody before going on to star in a Fantastic Four movie. He played Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through 2018's "Avengers: Endgame."

Evans attended his 20-year Lincoln-Sudbury class reunion in 2019, which took place at the now-closed Conrad's Restaurant.
