Sudbury's Fun Run, Scarecrow Contest, Fall Fest

The annual Halloween event is back. Make sure you're signed up.

SUDBURY, MA—Sudbury's holding its second Fall Fest and scarecrow contest in addition to the 7th annual Halloween 5K and one-mile Fun Run on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Haskell Field.

It's a day of fun for all ages that includes face painting, food trucks, musical entertainment, crafts and more.
The Halloween 5K is a timed event starting at 11 a.m. followed by a 1-Mile Fun Run around the paved Haskell Field loop. Costumes are encouraged.

For the Scarecrow Contest, Sudbury's Recreation Department provides straw, a mounting, and twine; you provide the materials needed for a face and any accessories you’d like for your family scarecrow. Clothing and accessories may not be returned, as the Scarecrows will be displayed until Halloween.
