Two More Sudbury Students Earn National Merit Scholarships
The new scholarships are sponsored by colleges that the students plan to attend.
SUDBURY, MA — Two Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School students will enter college in the fall with a boost from National Merit scholarships.
The students earned awards in the college-sponsored portion of the annual National Merit Scholarship Corp. 2024 funding round. The awards are worth between $500 and $2,000 for each year of college. About 3,600 students across the U.S. will get a college-sponsored award. Just over 20 Massachusetts students received awards in this week's round.

This week's funding round is the final award round in the 2024 National Merit process. Nearly 7,000 students nationwide earned awards this year out of a pool of 16,000 semifinalists selected last fall. Other Lincoln-Sudbury students also earned scholarships this year.
