Upcoming 5Ks, Walks in Shrewsbury
Two big 5K races, as well as fun runs, are coming up in Shrewsbury. Registration is open for both.
SHREWSBURY, MA — The community has two chances to take part in runs and walks in the town this spring.
The 9th Annual Shrewsbury Road Scholars 5k and 1M Fun Run takes place on Sunday, April 10, at noon for the Road Scholars 5k and 1M Fun Run. Registration is now open. All proceeds benefit the Shrewsbury Public Schools Colonial Fund.
The annual SHS 5K Walk/Run will be held on May 1. The 5K is a community event hosted by the Shrewsbury High School Class of 2018. Funds raised from the event help to defray the cost of class activities. In addition, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Shrewsbury Education Foundation, a volunteer organization that funds grants for innovative educational programs in our schools. Sign up now.
