SVT Holds Winter Solstice Sunset Walk

The Sudbury Valley Trustees offers a walk this Sunday, December 20, 3:30 pm. Free for SVT members and $10 for non-members.

Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) is offering a Winter Solstice Sunset Walk on Sunday, December 20, at 3:30 pm at SVT’s Round Hill, Lincoln Road in Sudbury. The winter solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere, has long been recognized in myths and traditions. Rabbi Katy Allen of the One Earth Collaborative will take you on an easy meditative ascent of Round Hill to watch the sun set over the horizon and greet the longest night of the year with reflection.

Space is limited and registration is required. Free for SVT members, $10 for non-members. For more details and to register, click here or call 978-443-5588 X123.

SVT and nearly 3000 members protect and care for land and wildlife habitat in 36 communities surrounding the Concord, Assabet, and Sudbury Rivers. Learn more online here.
