Swampscott To Offer High-Dose Flu Shot Clinic For Seniors

The Swampscott Health Department will run the drive-thru clinic on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Congregation Shirat Hayam.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The Swampscott Health Department will host a high-dose flu shot clinic for seniors ages 65 and older on Oct. 5 at the Congregation Shirat Hayam on Atlantic Avenue.

The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be drive-thru. It is open to all town residents, but they must pre-register here. Those will questions can call the Swampscott Senior Center at 781-596-8866.

The clinic is rain or shine and those getting shots are reminded to wear a short-sleeve shirt.

Masks must be worn while the shot is being administered.

Those attending should also bring an insurance card since this is a yearly influenza shot where insurance will be charged.
