Here's to a great start! Back to school means back to basics. Here is a great conversation to have with your child/children as you all reflect upon your day. Instead of "how was school", ask "Tell me one thing that made you feel proud (and why)" - "Who made you laugh today?" - "Tell me something you know today that you did not know yesterday?" and another great one, " What are you most looking forward to tomorrow?". Remember, always tell them how proud you are of them, as that will build confidence and self-esteem resulting in academic excellence.
