TEWKSBURY, MA — A new sports bar and restaurant has opened in the former Skybox space on Main Street in Tewksbury.

The restaurant was opened by Kayla O'Donnell and her business partner.

Brothers Sports Bar and Grille at 553 Main St. held a grand opening Friday.

A neon sign at the front of the restaurant, which reads “Every Pizza Me, Loves Every Pizza You!”, pays homage to the business's humble beginnings as a three-booth pizzeria that opened in the 1970s. The Brothers location in Dracut opened in 1979, operating solely as a pizzeria.

Over the years, it's expanded to become "one of the most popular lunch and dinner spots in Dracut," according to a press release.

The Tewksbury restaurant opened Jan. 28. The establishment has a renovated and contemporary dining, bar, and kitchen area, and seats 240 people.

“As we continue to get settled into our new home here in Tewksbury, our hope is to continue to expand the services we offer," O'Donnell said in a statement. "While we are currently dine-in only, the plan is to offer the same services that we offer at our Dracut location which include take out, delivery, a large function room for private events, and brunch.”

Beyond offering "a diverse menu, cold drinks, and a family-friendly atmosphere, Brother’s prides itself in community involvement." The restaurant gives back by supporting local youth sports, dine-for-dashes to help raise funds for school activities, and supporting first responders.

“At the end of the day, our goal is to be a part of a growing community, create a family-friendly atmosphere, and be the go-to place that you bring your family to sit down and eat after your kid’s game,” O'Donnell said.
