Fire Weather Warning for Massachusetts Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday for all of Southern New England.

Massachusetts is under a fire weather warning Wednesday as dry weather, low humidity and gusty conditions will bring critical fire weather conditions to the area.

A Red Flag Warning is issued when there are critical fire conditions. Any first that start may spread rapidly and become difficult to extinguish.

Winds Wednesday will be out of the north at 10-15 mph with guests between 20 and 25 mph, according to the NWS. It's possible to see a few gusts up to 30 mph across the Cape and islands. Winds will diminish from west to east Wednesday afternoon.
