FREE The Who Tribute Concert At Tewksbury Library On 8/11

The American Who will perform on the library's back lawn.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Enjoy a free concert from New England's #1 The WHO tribute band, The American WHO, this Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 6:30pm to 8pm, on the back lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library.

The American WHO is an incredible recreation of one of the greatest British rock bands from the 1960s to the present. The band’s current concert tour, “Long Live Rock,” is an exciting and authentic show that brings the sound of this legendary band to life. Powerful, unpredictable, charismatic and packed with the unstoppable energy and spirit of Daltrey, Townsend, Moon and Entwistle, American WHO presents a virtual “who’s who” of both classic songs and deep cuts that bring back the memories of Leeds, Woodstock, Isle of Wight and other historic shows.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. Overflow parking is available in the field across from the library’s parking lot, and in the hospital’s parking lots. There is no parking allowed along Hospital Road.

Uncomfortable in large crowds? Out of town? Tewksbury Telemedia will live-stream each concert on the Town’s YouTube page and its local access television stations.
