Home Sales Drop, Prices Increase In Tewksbury
Single-family home sales decreased while prices increased in Tewksbury in 2023, according to a study.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Home sales in Tewksbury were down last year, reflecting conditions across the state, according to a study from The Warren Group.
In 2023, sales in Tewksbury were down 33.7 percent. In 2022, 291 single-family homes were sold, but in 2023, only 193 homes were sold.
The median sale price of a single-family home increased 5.7 percent from $610,000 to $644,900, according to the Warren Group. This increase reflected trends across the state.

At the same time, single-family home sales in Massachusetts dropped to a 12-year low in 2023. Limited inventory combined with high prices and high interest rates all combined to make a tough real estate market for buyers.
