TEWKSBURY, MA — Jay Harding has been named principal of the new Central Elementary School, said a release from Tewksbury Public School Superintendent Brenda Theriault-Regan.

Harding, who has been an educator for over 25 years, is currently the principal for Trahan Elementary and a member of the Elementary School Building Committee, according to a report from the Tewksbury Carnation. The new school will have a second administrator who has not been named.

Construction has begun at the new Center Elementary School, which is expected to open in the fall.
