Jean M. (Wentworth) Massicotte, 57, Formerly of Tewksbury

"She will lovingly be remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality, her ability to always see the good in people and her generosity.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Jean M. (Wentworth) Massicotte, age 57, a resident of Lowell for 9 years, passed away at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, where she was a patient for a little over 24 hours, on Thursday, January 12, 2017.

Born in Boston on February 11, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Eugene R. and Agnes J. (Dacey) Wentworth.

Jean was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1977.

Following graduation, she was employed as a customer service representative by the AGFA Corporation in Wilmington, where she worked for 25 years. In addition, Jean worked for the past several years at Golds Gym in Tewksbury.

Jean resided in Tewksbury and Dracut until moving to Lowell in 2008.

In her spare time, she assisted those less fortunate by volunteering at the Lowell Transitional Living Center.

Jean enjoyed crafts, sewing, and traveling to the beaches on Cape Cod.

She will lovingly be remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality, her ability to always see the good in people and her generosity.

Jean is survived by two sisters, Patricia A. Timmins and her husband Thomas and Pamela A. Wentworth-Cogliano and her husband Shane all of Tewksbury; her companion of Ron Johnson of Nashua, NH; her niece, Meagan Timmins; three nephews, Thomas, Brian, and Christopher Ledoux. She also leaves many extended family members and friends.

Memorial calling hours are Friday, Jan. 20, from 5-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Memorial Funeral Mass Saturday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Please meet at church. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Home Health VNA, Merrimack Valley Hospice, HomeCare, Inc., 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Lawrence, MA 01843 or to Lowell Transitional Living Center, 189 Middlesex St., Lowell, MA 01852.
