Letter To The Editor: Support James F. Mackey III For Select Person

I am writing to wholeheartedly endorse James F. Mackey III for Select Person. After medically retiring from the U.S. Army due to injuries sustained in service of our country, James returned to his hometown with an unwavering dedication to public service. Serving on the Select Board for the past three years, James has demonstrated exemplary leadership and a deep commitment to our community's well-being.

James's track record speaks volumes. His initiatives have led to significant cost savings for our DPW, crucial infrastructure upgrades, and the establishment of valuable partnerships such as the Mass. National Guard Cyber Unit assessment. Beyond his accomplishments, James's integrity shines through in every decision he makes.

In an era marked by political expediency, James remains a beacon of integrity, consistently prioritizing the interests of our entire community over personal gain or political maneuvering. As we face significant fiscal challenges and pivotal decisions lie ahead, including the potential hiring of a new town manager and navigating budgetary constraints, James's moral compass and dedication to thorough research and community engagement make him the ideal candidate to lead us forward.
