Man Charged With Dealing Fentanyl In Tewksbury: Police

TEWKSBURY, MA — A man is facing drug-dealing charges following a bust in Tewksbury, according to police.

Members of the Tewksbury Police Narcotics Unit purchased fentanyl from a man later identified as Fidia Aria, 37, of Dorchester, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a business on Andover Street.

Arias was later taken into custody. During a follow-up investigation, police said they found Arias had previously used a different name and was also wanted on two default warrants.

Arias was charged with distribution of a class A substance (subsequent offense) and operating with a suspended license. He was also charged on default warrants for distribution of a class A substance and possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

He was scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in Lowell District Court.
