TEWKSBURY, MA — A local road is closed due to a motor vehicle accident.

Tewksbury police tweeted the following around 11:45 a.m. Thursday: "Be advised Patten Road is closed from Shawsheen Street to Marie Street due to a motor vehicle accident. Please avoid the area as there are live down wires."
