OBITUARY: James F. Lawton IV, 29, of Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA — James F. Lawton IV, of Tewksbury formerly of Woburn, passed away on Dec. 9, 2016 at the age of 29. Born in Waltham, he was the cherished son of James F. Lawton III of Tewksbury and Veronica (Hunt) Lawton of Derry, NH. James was the beloved husband of Jennifer D. (Holbrook).

James was raised and educated in Woburn. He attended Woburn Memorial High School where he was a John Adams Scholar. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing video games and was a veracious reader. However his greatest joy was to spend time doting over his adored daughter, Lydia.

James is also survived by his loving grandmother, Elizabeth Lawton of Woburn. In-laws David and Jeanne Holbrook of Lexington. Cousins, Matt Duffett, Sandra Lawton, and Timothy Lawton. He is further survived by his uncles; Tom, David, Peter, Paul and Christopher Lawton. He is predeceased by his cousin Jamie Lawton and aunt Virginia Lawton Duffett.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home located at 60 Pleasant St. in Woburn on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church located 138 Cambridge St. in Woburn at 10 a.m.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
