OBITUARY: Robert J. Egan, 31, Formerly of Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA — Robert J. Egan, age 31, of Burlington, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. After fighting so hard to live a sober life, he lost his battle to addiction.

Born in Lowell on October 1, 1985, he was the son of the late Lois J. (Duffy) Egan and Robert J. Egan.

Bobby was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury schools.

He loved fishing, listening to music, playing football, pool, and darts, was an avid New England sports fan, and most of all, he loved being a dad.

Bobby is survived by two daughters, Brielle Egan of Lowell and Evalyn Giacoppo of Burlington; his fiancée, Nicole Giacoppo of Burlington; his sister, Mikala Daloia , her husband Nicholas, and their daughter, Lucy Daloia, all of Pelham, NH; and many extended family members and close friends.

Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, Oct. 8th, from 12 Noon to 4 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. A prayer service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Bobby’s family invites friends to join them Sunday, Oct. 9th, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Tewksbury Elks to celebrate his life. Kindly Omit Flowers.
