My son was blessed to have her for 4th grade at the Center Elementary School.

Fourth grade.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

As a former educator, I can genuinely say that Mrs. McHenry is a once-in-a-lifetime educator that will stay with her students forever. Her vision, wisdom, and passion for teaching inspires students to have a love of school and learning.

Her positivity and encouragement of all children fosters and inspires students to try their best. My son, Jayden, was blessed with opportunity to see what the love of learning really means. We are so very grateful!

Mrs.McHenry's communication with families goes above and beyond. This absolutely makes a difference with family involvement and opens the door to valued, fun and interactive discussions with our children.

She is the epitome of what an amazing teacher looks like.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She's the fairy godmother of teachers and her gentle spirit is magnetic.
