Tewksbury Blizzard: Over Two Feet Of Snow Possible

Tewksbury is forecasted to get between 15 and 26 inches of snow beginning Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury could get over two feet of snow in the blizzard predicted to begin Friday evening.

The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for the region that will be in effect all day Saturday. The service forecasts 15 to 26 inches of snow in Tewksbury beginning late Friday.

In the area covered by the blizzard warning, winds could gust at 50 to 60 miles per hour and visibility may drop below one-quarter of a mile, the Weather Service said.

Parking ban

Tewksbury's overnight parking ban is in place all winter, the town reminded residents.

Transit

Lowell Regional Transit Authority fixed bus and Road Runner service will both be suspended Saturday, the agency said.
