Tewksbury Garden Club Makes Donation To Library

"The garden club aims to bring the art and science of gardening to our community," stated Jackie Stone, GC president.

From the Tewksbury Garden Club: The Tewksbury Garden Club presented their second check for $150 to the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library in support of a Museum Pass to the 132 acre Tower Hill Botanic Garden, located in Boylston, MA.

Earlier this month the members of the Garden Club voted to co-sponsor an author visit by Jana Milbocker, who will discuss her new book, "The Garden Tourist: 120 Destination Gardens and Nurseries in the Northeast," at the library at 6:45 pm.

“The garden club aims to bring the art and science of gardening to our community.” stated Jackie Stone, GC president. “We care for gardens and containers around town and provide monthly programs regarding home gardening, conservation and ecology, and floral design to our members. By collaborating with the Friends of the Library, we can expand our reach to the community.”
