Tewksbury Looking For Election Tellers For April 1 Town Election

Tellers must be available from 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. on election night and will make $16 an hour. The Select Board will appoint the tellers.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Town Clerk's office said it is looking for election tellers for the April 1 annual town election.

Applications for the position are available online and can be emailed or mailed to the Town Clerk's office.

According to town officials, tellers will be appointed by the Select Board and supervised under the direction of the Town Clerk. Tellers must be available to work from 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. on election night. The salary for tellers is $16 an hour.

"You can help your community, take a direct role in the democratic process and earn a little money by serving as an election teller," said Denise Graffeo, Tewksbury's town clerk.

Election teller applications can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 1009 Main St., Tewksbury, MA, 01876.
