Tewksbury Power Outages After Tree Takes Out Electic Lines

TEWKSBURY, MA — A downed tree closed Pine Street and caused power outages in that area of Tewksbury on Monday.

Tewksbury police said Pine Street was closed "for the time being" shortly afternoon noon and that drivers should avoid the area of Whipple and Leary.

Police said utilities have been contacted and were responding, but National Grid was reporting power outages in the area.
