The license is valid for one calendar year and must be renewed annually. March 15 is the deadline to avoid late fees.

Town of Tewksbury: Tewksbury Town Clerk, Denise Graffeo, reminds dog owners that the Dog Bylaw requires that any dog not licensed on or before March 15th, shall pay a late dog license fee. Effective Friday, March 16th a $5.00 late fee will begin to be assessed. Dogs that are new to Town may be licensed at any time throughout the year without incurring a late fee.
