Wilmington, Tewksbury Chamber Hosting Annual Meeting This Week

Tewksbury And Wilmington, MA — The Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce said spots remain available for Wednesday's Annual Meeting featuring the chamber's Board of Directors.

The meeting is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 1 p.m., at Al Fresca Ristorante, located at 1768 Main St. in Tewksbury. There is no charge for members, guests or anyone interested in joining the chamber, but registration is required in order to get an accurate count for lunch.

The meeting will feature lunch, conversation, raffles, giveaways and remarks from Chamber of Commerce President Mark Kratman.

Kratman, who also is a member of the Tewksbury Select Board, is expected to give updates about chamber initiatives and plans for the upcoming year.

One impending development is the chamber's soon-to-be-released interactive guide and magazine. Last year's guide remains available online.

The program also will include a special presentation of this year's Carmon Cunningham Business Legacy Award.

Founded in 1961, the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit that now features over 250 business owners and civic leaders.

"We are dedicated to promoting the general business interests as well as the civic, economic and social welfare of the citizens of our community," the chamber said in a statement. "We support our local businesses in many ways by providing corporate visibility, networking events, advertising and marketing programs, job postings, scholarship and partnerships and sponsor opportunities."
