Wakefield General Election Early Voting Now Underway

Wakefield will host early voting across roughly two weeks before next month's general election.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Early in-person voting in Wakefield began on Saturday as the town kicks off roughly two weeks of voting before next month’s state general election.

Early voting is taking place in the office of the Town Clerk at Wakefield Town Hall at 1 Lafayette St.

  • Saturday, Oct. 22; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 23; 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 24; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 25; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 26; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 27; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 28; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 29; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 30; 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Oct. 29; Last day for voter registration
  • Nov. 1; Deadline to send a vote by mail application to receive a ballot in time for Election Day
  • Nov. 8; Election Day

Election Day voting will run from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Galvin Middle School.

Voters in Wakefield in this year's election will settle a contested race in the 5th Middlesex State Senate district, where incumbent and Democrat Jason Lewis is running against Republican challenger Ed Dombroski.
