Wakefield Rotary Donates to Interact Care Closet
Local Rotarians support new initiative at the Wakefield High School
The Wakefield Rotary Club recently contributed items to the Wakefield Interact’s Care Closet. The Care Closet is accessible to high school students and contains free clothes and other necessary toiletries for students in need. Rotarians donated items to kick start the closet including items for students as well as hangers and containers for storage. Interact Advisor Bridget Hagerty and Interact leaders Ahmen Othman and Riya Patel visited the club this week to pick up the items.
The Care Closet is still seeking items including teenage clothes, coats, winter boots, toiletries (deodorant, body spray, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, shampoo, conditioner, soap, feminine products, etc.), laundry detergent, or monetary donations to purchase these items. To make a donation, please contact Wakefield Interact Advisor Bridget Hagerty at the Wakefield High School.
