Wakefield's Veterans Relief Fund Receives Donation From Elks Lodge

Elks Lodge 1276 donated $4,000 to Wakefield's Veterans Relief Fund.

On March 15, Elks Lodge 1276 donated $4,000 to Wakefield’s Veterans Relief Fund. The fund is available to Wakefield Veterans, Veteran families, and spouses of surviving Veterans who face a financial challenge and need one-time support. Ralph Eaton presented the donation to Wakefield Veteran Service Officer David Mangan at a breakfast attended by over 70 Veterans and their families.

The Veterans Advisory Board and Veterans Service Officer will host an upcoming coffee social on April 20 at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center (30 Converse Street).
