WALTHAM, MA — Hannaford Supermarkets is celebrating its grand re-opening with donations to local organizations and new products and services for shoppers.

The newly remodeled store at 55 Russell St., in Waltham, will feature a bigger variety of grab-and-go meals, sushi, wings, salads and sandwiches and more.

The newly updated store provides customers with numerous self-checkout registers to enhance customer convenience.

“Our new products and services are designed to make shopping as easy and convenient as possible for our customers,” said Hannaford Supermarkets Waltham Store Manager Kevin Fortier. “We’re excited to introduce a greater variety of grab-and-go meal options to our already expansive selection of fresh, quality items. As a committed community partner, we’re pleased to celebrate the completion of this project with donations to the Waltham Boys and Girls Club and Work, Community, Independence, Inc. (WCI).”

Waltham's Hannaford will make a total of $3,000 in donations to local non-profit organizations, including the Waltham Boys and Girls Club and WCI, which provides a variety of services to "support individuals with intellectual, physical and mental disabilities."
