WELLESLEY HILLS, MA — A Waltham native is one of just seven students to receive high honors at MassBay Community College's 2024 graduation.
Esther Jagwer, of Waltham, earned an All-College Academic Award for her 4.0 GPA.
She also received the Division Award for achieving the highest GPA in the academic division of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and the Program Award for the highest GPA in her academic program, life sciences.

Jagwer, originally from Botswana, intends to transfer to a four-year institution to complete her education.
