Truck Driver Shocked After Hitting Electric Line In Westborough

The incident happened Tuesday along Vinal Hill Road, according to Westborough police.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A cement truck driver was shocked after clipping an overhead wire Tuesday in a neighborhood south of downtown Westborough.

According to Westborough police, the driver got out of his truck after hitting the wire along Vinal Hill Road, which is near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Route 30. The wire was touching the truck. The driver was not injured, however, police said.

National Grid was still on the scene of the crash as of 1 p.m., according to police.
