WESTBOROUGH, MA — For the third summer in a row, Westborough's Lake Chauncy will be missing lifeguards.

Westborough Recreation Department Director Jenn Kirkland told the Community Advocate the town didn't get enough lifeguard applicants to staff the beach this summer.

The town was trying to hire 15 lifeguards for the summer with starting pay at $16 per hour, plus reimbursement for lifeguard training.
