"The People United" to Premiere at Roxbury International Film Festival

Boston Doc "The People United" Captures 2020's Unrest at Roxbury Film Fest Premiere

Local filmmaker Crosby Tatum's highly anticipated documentary, "The People United," will have its world premiere at the prestigious 2024 Roxbury International Film Festival on June 21st at 5 pm.

The film offers a unique perspective on the social and political upheaval of 2020, following the murder of George Floyd. Described as a "cinematic diary," "The People United" captures the raw emotions and diverse voices of protestors on both sides of the movement, amidst a global pandemic and a contentious US election.

"This film is a testament to the power of people coming together to demand change," said Tatum in a press release. "Through personal stories and unfiltered footage, 'The People United' offers a window into a pivotal moment in American history."
