RE/MAX INTEGRA, New England Releases April 2015 Housing Report - Westwood

On average, home prices rose 1.9% year-over-year. Pending sales were also up 11.4% year-over-year and 19.5% over March 2015's numbers.

The New England housing market experienced an average year-over-year sales drop of 2.5% in the region with 11,424 recorded sales. Month-over-month home sales, however, reflected the spring market with an increase of 9.4% over March 2015’s numbers.

Across New England, median prices were steady in comparison to April 2014’s figures. On average, home prices rose 1.9% year-over-year. Pending sales were also up 11.4% year-over-year and 19.5% over March 2015’s numbers.

“It is encouraging to see that pending sales are solid across New England,” said Dan Breault, EVP/Regional Director of RE/MAX INTEGRA, New England. “Homes for sale are sitting on the market for fewer days than last month with figures dropping 1.3%. We expect to see strong numbers as we move along in the busy spring season.”
