The presentations will take place on March 12 at the Wilmington Memorial Library.

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Memorial Library and Tewksbury Public Library are partnering up to provide a special local history program on what transportation was like in Wilmington and Tewksbury in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Past and present residents of both towns are invited to attend “Planes, Trains and Automobiles!” on Thursday, March 12, 2020, from 7pm to 9pm, at the Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue).

In these 3 interrelated presentations, UMass Lowell librarian & train photographer Ron Karr will discuss the railroad history of Wilmington & Tewksbury, "Trolleys of the Merrimack Valley" author Kevin Farrell will explore the trolley history of both communities, and Earl Hupper, whose family owned the Tew-Mac Airport, will share his stories.
