Final Road Paving On Ashwood Avenue In Wilmington Begins Aug. 2

Park Street and Marion Street are expected to follow by mid-week, according to Wilmington officials.

WILMINGTON, MA — Final paving of the Ashwood Avenue area is set to begin late-Monday morning as part of Wilmington's roadway resurfacing project.

According to the Wilmington Department of Public Works, during operations, no street parking will be allowed.

  • Ashwood Avenue from (Andover Street to 32 Ashwood Ave.)
  • Dogwood Lane
  • Blueberry Lane
  • Cottonwood Circle

Partial lane closures and full road closures are anticipated, according to the town. Local residents will have access to their properties, although there may be short delays.

"Please refer to social media for updates as the construction date approaches," officials said on the town's website.
