Gov. Healey Tours ADI Facilities During Wilmington Visit On Tuesday

WILMINGTON, MA — Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey toured Wilmington's Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) on Tuesday and spoke about how the company is part of her vision for the state's business and technology future.

"Founded decades ago by two MIT grads, Analog Devices finds innovative solutions to today's biggest challenges," Healey said while speaking to reporters during the visit. "By collaborating with companies like Analog, we'll make Massachusetts a hub for semiconductor and chip innovation and manufacturing."

Analog, according to its website, is a global semiconductor leader that "combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world."

Healey was joined on Tuesday's visit by Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Yvonne Hao, Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Lauren Jones, State Senator Barry Finegold and State Representative David Robertson. Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll was unable to attend due to a death in the family.

During her visit, which lasted over an hour, Healey met with ADI leadership, including: Vincent Roche, CEO, Greg Henderson, senior vice president of the Automotive & Energy, Communications and Aerospace Group, and Rebecca Diaz, vice president of Treasury, Mergers & Acquisitions and Government Affairs.

Healey also toured ADI's labs and spoke to a group of 100 employees, answering their questions.

"We were extremely honored to have Governor Maura Healey visit the Analog Devices headquarters in Wilmington," Diaz said. "As a global company with deep roots in Massachusetts, we have a shared ambition to elevate the state's position in the global technology landscape."

Diaz continued: "ADI is committed to investing in innovation that helps achieve major policy goals and supports the Massachusetts technology ecosystem."
