Although Voices of Hope is primarily a fundraising group that uses theatrical performances to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, they also leverage sporting events (for the non-theater crowd) to help support their cause.
The 9th Annual VOH Barbara Byrd Memorial Golf Classic
Voices of Hope is gearing up for another spectacular day of golf at the beautiful Hillview Golf Course in North Reading, MA. July 26th.
The event will include a 4-person scramble, BBQ lunch, an awards reception and an opportunity drawing following the golf. Registration opens at 7:00 AM and golfing starts at 8:00 AM with a shotgun start. Lunch will be served starting at 12:00 PM. The cost is $150.00 per golfer. If you register prior to July 1st, your cost would only be $135 per golfer. For non-golfers and spouses of golfers we have a “lunch only” option for $50.00 per person.

Proceeds from this tournament benefit cancer research at The Henri and Belinda Termeer Center at the Mass General Cancer Center. The Termeer Center brings together cutting-edge research resources and provides a foundation for collaborations among physicians and investigators from a broad spectrum of biomedical disciplines, resulting in a rapidly expanding arsenal of weapons against cancer. Leading specialists from the Cancer Center's 23 disease centers participate in the Termeer Center by enrolling their patients in its fast-growing portfolio of Phase I, Phase II and Phase III clinical trials.
