There will be no bus or train service at North Wilmington Station. Please consider boarding Lowell Line trains at Wilmington station.

From Reading Station to Oak Grove Station

Buses will replace train service between Reading and Oak Grove. At Oak Grove, passengers can connect with the Orange Line for continued service to North Station. Passengers between Reading and Malden Center may also board MBTA Bus #137.

A diversion schedule will be in effect with an extra bus stop at Anderson/Woburn to allow for a connection to Haverhill and Lowell Line train service.

North Wilmington Station

This station will be shut down until Nov. 5.

It's recommended that impacted riders use Wilmington's Main Street Commuter Rail Station during the closure.

The changes are to allow for the installation of Automatic Train Control, part of the larger Positive Train Control signaling system mandated by the Rail Safety Improvement Act of 2008, according to a statement from the Town of Wilmington. The system upgrade is intended to improve both safety and service reliability.
