Meet WW2 Veteran John Katsaros - Book Discussion

On Saturday, November 10th from 11:30 AM – 3PM, Boy Scout Troop 136 invites the public to come to the Wilmington Mason Hall located at 35 Ch

On Saturday, November 10th from 11:30 AM – 3PM, Boy Scout Troop 136 invites the public to come to the Wilmington Mason Hall located at 35 Church Street in Wilmington to assist IPoDS for Wounded Vets to sign Christmas and Holiday cards for hospitalized Vets. Troop 136 will supply all materials and light refreshments will be served.

In addition, World War 2 Veteran John Katsaros will be presenting a book talk and signing on his book – Code Burgundy – The Long Escape based as his experience as a 20 year old aerial gunner who was shot down and seriously wounded. He escaped capture with the assistance from the Free French Resistance. Also, local bee-keeper Adele Passmore, will have a demonstration on the art of beekeeping and will have local honey samples and available for purchase.
