Merrimack Valley Snow Totals For MA Weekend Blizzard

Some areas got over 18 inches of snow in Saturday's winter storm.

WILMINGTON, MA — It wasn't the blizzard of '78, but the weekend nor'easter that slammed Massachusetts came pretty close in some spots across the state.

According to snow totals released Sunday by the National Weather Service (NWS), some towns saw nearly 3 feet of snow. Stoughton was the winner with about 30.9 inches — but almost every spot east of Worcester got at least a foot.

The largest total in the Merrimack Valley was 19 inches reported in Wilmington.
